PROTESTANTISM AS A DRIVER OF SOCIAL CHANGE: HISTORICAL LESSONS FOR MODERN UKRAINE

The article considers Protestantism as an important social movement that played a significant role in the formation of European society. The influence of Protestant ethics on the development of civic responsibility, education, work culture, and social activity is analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the historical lessons of Protestantism and their relevance for modern Ukraine in the context of social transformations caused by democratization processes, war, and the formation of civil society. The importance of the values of freedom of conscience, personal responsibility, solidarity, and social service for strengthening Ukrainian society and the state is emphasized.
