THE CONCEPTS OF SPIRITUALITY AND RELIGIOSITY IN CONTEMPORARY SOCIOLOGICAL DISCOURSE

The article deals with the analysis of modern concepts of "spirituality" and "religiousness" in the context of sociological discourses of famous English, Austrian, Polish and American sociologists. It is noted that in the modern religious environment there is a "spiritual revolution", processes of deinstitutionalization, respiritualization and secularization, as a result of which new spiritual practices arise that blur the boundaries between religiosity and non-religiosity. It is noted that in sociology there is a search for so-called megatrends, which could explain this process.
