Abstract

In this article, we will consider the causes of divorces and possible practical measures to prevent them, taking into account biblical principles and the historical experience of the Church in the matter of divorces. in the work, we note that the main preventive measure is family education based on biblical principles and preparation for marriage. The work reflects the important principles of establishing the existence and preservation of family-marital relations, where the emphasis is placed on the fact that an important basis for creating a family, its preservation and preventing divorces is the upbringing of children, the existence of "model" families that are an example for children, as well as for the surrounding environment. Such model families, as noted in the article, can be Christian families built according to biblical prescriptions and recommendations, which are determined by the church.
