THEORETICAL REFLECTIONS OF THOUGHTS ON THEOLOGY AS A SCIENTIFIC REALITY

Abstract

The article presents the scientific approaches of Protestant researchers on the role and place of theology in the system of sciences. In theological research, one must be clea r about the difference between science in the secular sense and science in the Protestant sense. Such knowledge will allow you to avoid typical mistakes when writing a dissertation, get rid of common stereotypes. Protestant believer is not an enemy of science. The existing contradictions between Protestantism and Scientism are doctrinal contradictions. Scientism shifts attention to sensory experience, denies the sphere of supersensible cognition. The author is convinced that the industry has a long history and prospects for further development. It is based on faith in God, a scientific understanding of the theory and practice of theology, and a scientific study of the people's life experience.
