Abstract

The article defines the significance of the concept of the “great commission” as a means and tool for the formation of the spiritual and moral culture of the individual and his or her formation as a Christian. Through the analysis of this concept, the author emphasizes the importance of the role of the Holy Spirit in the life and work of Christians and their formation as a person through “birth from above”. Through the Greek etymology of the word “gospel” as Ukrainian “good news” the author draws attention to the importance of the presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of every believer for both formation and development.
